19 Mars 2009 Tierno Monénembo est un grand écrivain guinéen. Il a été nommé docteur ès sciences après avoir présenté une thèse en biochimie à l’université de Lyon. En 2008, Il reçoit le Prix Renaudot pour son roman Le Roi de Kahel.
